On a practical level this card can translate to secrecy. It may mean that there is information that people would rather keep to themselves. They may have received it in confidence and are therefore respecting the privacy of another person. Or perhaps sharing this information would do more harm than good.

It maybe that you yourself are keeping quiet, whether that's to avoid any unnecessary hassle, to protect your ideas from the competition or simply because it's part of your character to keep an air of mystery about yourself. 

 This is also a very spiritual and magical card and often represents a highly intuitive and mysterious woman who sees with a third eye, feels with a sixth sense and listens to the whispers that others can't hear. It can represent the unlocking of a secret or mystery, like trying to learn tarot, palm reading or any other type of divination and it suddenly clicking into place one day. 

There is a level of knowledge that can only be learned by using your intuition. Sometimes you 'just know' and it's nothing to do with logic, intelligence or education. The high priestess may be urging you to open yourself up more, believe a little bit more and trust your intuition implicitly.
